Fresh off of a flight, desperate to stave off jet lag, I dove into the Carmel Market (the Shuk Hacarmel) - a full sensory delight that pushed aside any drowsiness. Friday was nearing an end so the market was bustling with shoppers buying last minute Shabbat supplies.
